Après l'avoir écouté que distraitement pendant longtemps, j'ai eu une obsession pour ce morceau pendant longtemps et j'y reviens toujours avec bonheur quand je me sens mélancolique. Comme toujours avec Bob en fait, cette vieille malle aux merveilles.

L'un de mes passages favoris du Zim :

La version de Woody Guthrie (Who's Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet, avec Cisco Houston qui fait des choeurs) était déjà fabuleuse.
Mais celle de Bob est grandiose. Belle, belle, belle. Elle illumine le Bootleg #1.


PS: tes posts tombent à pic. Cela fait des semaines que j'ai trop de boulot, même pas le courage de mettre de la musique en rentrant. Tu m'as fais repartir pour une cure de Dylan, ça va me faire un bien fou. Merci.

Dylan a juste rajouté un dimension anti-ségrégation dans le premier couplet, mais le reste est très très inspiré des paroles de Woody.
Et puis il y aussi le retournement "Who's gonna glove your hands" en "My hands ain't got no gloves"
