| Une nouvelle rumeur parle de la période 69 / 71 choix étrange mais c'est une période que j'adore donc laissons nous surprendre : - Citation :
- In "Bootleg Series" news, there has been a small development. According to a post on the Facebook site Tempestuous Days, the new rumor is that volume 10 of the "Bootleg Series" will concentrate on the years 1969 and 1970.
So what can we expect? According to Still On The Road, fans and collectors are aware of the following:
1969:
FEBRUARY: Eight sessions in Nashville, including two with Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. One of the Cash sessions was filmed. The "Nashville Skyline" album was released in quadrophonic sound, and has not been reissued. An alternative version of "Lay Lady Lay" was made available in an iTunes promotion back in 2009. APRIL: First two "Self Portrait" sessions. MAY: Appearance on "The Johnny Cash Show," broadcast on ABC-TV, June 7; third "Self Portrait" session JULY: Surprise set at the Southern Illinois University, with The Band, at the Mississippi River Festival. AUGUST: Isle Of Wight Festival with the Band, only four songs officially released. (Video footage exists.)
1970:
MARCH/APRIL: Three regular "Self Portrait" sessions, eight overdub sessions. MAY: First "New Morning" session, including informal recordings with George Harrison. JUNE: Six "New Morning" sessions. JULY: Two "New Morning" overdub sessions. AUGUST: Final "New Morning" session. DECEMBER: Earl Scruggs Documentary (video)
There are a number of possibilities: An overview of this entire era, a Johnny Cash CD/DVD/Blu-Ray compilation, an Isle Of Wight CD/DVD/Blu-Ray set, a Cash/Harrison set, or maybe an expanded edition of "Nashville Skyline," ""Self Portrait," "New Morning," or the 1973 release of out takes called "Dylan." (OK, maybe not the unauthorized "Dylan" album.)
While attending the launch for Jon Friedman's book, "Forget About Today," in August, I met someone (who shall remain masked and anonymous) who was involved with Dylan's official archives. He assured me there was much material "under the radar" in the archives that collectors did not know about.
So who knows what we can expect? Me? I'm holding out for the quadrophonic box set. Source: http://www.examiner.com/article/ex-guitarist-guests-with-dylan-santa-barbara-bootleg-series-going-country Et on parle déjà des New York sessions pour le vol 11 ... | |
